ORANGE NEVER LOOKED SO GOOD!
Although the colour orange has never been on my list of favourites in the rainbow of colourland, I couldn't walk past these great dish washing gloves without buying them for this month's window!
A simple punch of colour works perfectly!
MAD MONDAYS
Monday is my day of stock pick-ups in Melbourne. I normally start in the western suburb of Braybrook, then onto Armadale and beyond to the Mornington Peninsula......usually rushed and on a tight schedule, I don't normally stop for a minute - but this Monday I decided to take my husband John, making Monday a "play day" too.
As I whizzed him around my haunts of suppliers he enjoyed seeing the warehouses including a tiny lane way in the heart of the CBD which houses fascinating pieces.This unique space is magic!
I found these dishwashing gloves which act as a great prop for "ORANGE OCTOBER"! A last minute idea - but Mondays can do that!

This fabulous piece is called a La'Kech, an Ethiopian charcoal cooker!
My husband is a lover of cooking outdoors and experimenting with food in every form....... This unusual and authentic cooker seemed like the perfect gift.I look forward to one of his signature curry dishes cooked on his new La'Kech.Maybe it will be a Chollay Bhatura chick pea curry - or surprise me!!!
